Oregon Community Credit Union’s Employee Community Giving Fund Committee donated $1,000 to Looking Glass to provide assistance with purchase of some much needed items for programs at Station 7 and Riverfront School. Items purchased included various cookware, pots and pans, plates and bowls and more as well as some newborn baby clothes purchased for Riverfront School clients who are expecting newborn babies in the coming year.
#GivingTuesday - Coastal Farm & Ranch Offers $1,000 Matching Donation
For this year’s #GivingTuesday (Nov 27) campaign, Looking Glass was offered a generous matching donation opportunity from the Eugene Coastal Farm & Ranch of $1,000. With hopes of raising another $1,000 from local, individual donors, we have created a special online donation page which describes the impact of various giving levels. These funds will be used to purchase new winter clothing and items as part of our winter donation drive efforts.
Breakfast Fundraiser Event Puts Spotlight on Homeless Youth Services
On Wednesday, November 14th, Looking Glass held its 6th annual breakfast fundraiser event which focused almost entirely on supporting the Runaway & Homeless Youth services program. The event, held at Venue 252 in Eugene, featured Mary Reilly as our Emcee and Keynote speaker as well as a new video from a client success story.

A big thank you goes out to Foresters Financial whose local members organized to make a significant in-kind donation to Looking Glass’ Counseling Program of over 100 Self-Care Kits. Our therapists provide these supplies, which included some arts and crafts tools as well as hygiene materials, to our clients to help them relax and process the stress of their lives.

Event Recap: Hike for Hope Raises $4,135
The Inaugural "Hike for Hope" event, a group hike fundraiser up Mount Pisgah held Saturday, August 11th, was a resounding success in all aspects. The $4,000 fundraising goal was exceeded by $135 and a group of generous supporters of about 50 people joined together to follow hike leader and former Looking Glass client and employee, Nick "the trainer dude" Hammond.
